Helping Hut NGO

Embracing the Festive Fervour through Community Outreach Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) have played a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape by initiating various drives and programs aimed at fostering the holistic development of students. Engaging students in community service and social outreach activities helps instill values of empathy, responsibility, and social awareness. These experiences contribute to character development and a sense of civic duty. The Indian Heights School organised a visit in collaboration with Helping Hut NGO on November 9, 2023. Encouraging SEWA (Social Empowerment through Work education and Action), an initiative by CBSE and embracing the festive spirit of Diwali, students of Class XI organised activities for underprivileged children, including painting drive, food donation, indigenous games, dancing & grooving session, which created an engaging and fun atmosphere for all the children. The students were able to acknowledge and appreciate the privileges they have in their lives and how one must be grateful for them. The smile on the faces of the underprivileged kids added a sense of compassion in our students as they were thankful to be a part of this initiative.
