Cleanliness Drive

Cleanliness Drive - A Tribute to Gandhiji’s Mission and Swachh Bharat On October 3 & 4 October , our school organized a remarkable cleanliness drive to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi’s mission of cleanliness and to further the vision of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This event saw our students actively participating in a rally, generating awareness among the community, and taking tangible steps toward a cleaner and healthier environment. The day began with a vibrant rally , chanting the slogans on Swachchata, led by our enthusiastic students .Carrying placards and banners with messages promoting cleanliness and sanitation, they marched through the streets, drawing the attention of residents and passersby. Their dedication and spirit were truly commendable as they chanted slogans echoing the importance of cleanliness. During the rally, our students engaged with local residents, educating people about the impacts of cleanliness on health and well-being. Following the rally, our young eco-warriors took a pledge and embarked on a mission to clean a designated stretch of the road. Armed with brooms, gloves, and dustbins, they worked tirelessly to collect litter and debris. The unity and teamwork displayed by our students were exemplary, reflecting their commitment to a cleaner environment. Through this cleanliness drive, we aimed not only to clean our surroundings but also to instill a sense of responsibility and awareness among our students and the local community. It was heartening to witness the positive responses from the people, who appreciated our efforts and pledged to contribute to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The cleanliness drive was a resounding success, aligning with Gandhiji’s vision of a clean and self-reliant India and Prime Minister Modi’s mission to make Swachh Bharat a reality. Our students, the torchbearers of change, showcased their dedication to this noble cause. It was a reminder that collective efforts can bring about significant transformations in our society. As we move forward, let us carry the spirit of this cleanliness drive in our hearts and continue to work toward a cleaner and healthier India, in line with the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The School Principal in her address to the Green ambassadors of Cleanliness Project reiterated that it should not just be a day drive or project, it should become a daily practice and eventually, a way of life.
