Yoga: Transforming Lives . . . (III-VIII)
As a part of the ongoing ‘World Health Week’ a workshop on "YOGA" was conducted on April12,2017 for the students of classes III- VIII where students got the chance to know how yoga embodies unity of mind and body. Students learned and later performed Surya Namaskar which has a sequence of 12 powerful yoga asans which is a good cardiovascular workout and is useful for strengthening the back, spine, cervical etc during the workshop. Students also performed Bhramari Pranayama and meditation which left students relaxed and rejuvenated their spirits. The students thoroughly enjoyed learning about the copious benefits of practicing yoga regularly and were enthuse to practice it in their daily lives.
